Leah Raidt
Leah Raidt (she/they) is an actor/filmmaker/teacher and trauma-informed meditation teacher based in Chicago, IL & Lousiville, KY. Leah's work aims to uplift and advance LGBTQ+ artists and narratives. They teach theatre and film acting at The Green Room Studio (Chicago), Actors Training Center (Wilmette, IL), and serve on drama faculty at the KY Governor's School for the Arts. Filmmaking credits include recently completed short-film LEE BABY (Director/Producer), and award-winning short-film ROUGH RIVER LAKE (co-creator/producer/actor), in which Leah received the Cinemafemme Halyana Hutchins Producer Award. They have received individual artist grants for their film projects from IL Arts Agency, DCASE, Puffin Foundation, & KY GSA. Theatre credits include Steppenwolf Theatre, The Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, American Theatre Company, and many more. Leah holds a B.F.A in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University, and is an alum of The School at Steppenwolf & Chicago's Director's Workshop (PROP Thtr). www.LeahRaidt.com
