Lori Kirstein
Lori is a character actor whose range travels from the dramatic to the comedic. From a comic, New York housewife in "American Standard", to John Ruskin's stiff-necked British-accented mother in "The Countess", Lori has an style that is authentic and focused. Her style has been compared to that of Christine Lahti's - certainly one of the better compliments paid her - and she has studied with the redoubtable Harold Guskin (Kevin Kline's personal coach and friend of 40 years, as well as the coach to the stars) who paid her possibly *the* greatest compliment of inviting her to come back to coach with him any time. From 2001-2014 Lori lived and worked in the Bay Area of California, and is now back home in the midwest - Cincinnati, Ohio - reacquainting herself with corndogs and fried foods.
